Harvey Norman complaints in Ireland: refunds, repairs and delivery

How to complain to Harvey Norman about a faulty product, delayed delivery or refund. Find the official contact route and prepare your evidence.

Check your dispute first

Answer a few questions to see your options before writing your complaint.

Check your options

To complain to Harvey Norman, start with the store or online team responsible for your order. Its official contact page has a general complaint form and a separate link for reporting a faulty product. Keep a copy of what you send, with your order number and the outcome you want.

TBD is independent and is not affiliated with this company. We help you prepare a complaint; we cannot promise a refund or decide who is legally responsible.

Choose the right complaint

For a faulty appliance, describe the fault, when you received the product and any repair already attempted. For a missed delivery, give the agreed date and the latest promise. For a refund already agreed, attach the confirmation and ask when and how it will be paid. These are different problems and need different evidence.

Ask for a practical next step

Tell the retailer whether you want it to investigate a fault, arrange delivery or explain a missing refund. Ask for its position in writing and keep any collection or inspection arrangements. A warranty discussion does not, by itself, answer your separate consumer-rights complaint.

A message you can adapt

Use only details that are true for your order: “My order [number] was due on [date]. It has not arrived, and your latest message says [explanation]. Please confirm a delivery date I can agree to, or explain your position on my request to cancel and receive a refund.” This is sample wording, not a reported customer outcome.

If you still cannot resolve it

Keep the retailer’s final reply. CCPC guidance explains delivery rights and possible card-payment disputes. Ask your bank promptly about any applicable chargeback deadline if you paid by card. Neither a complaint letter nor a chargeback request guarantees repayment.
