What changed in the published lists
The reported count naming Ryanair was 319 in the first half of 2025 and 238 in the same period of 2026. eir's reported count was 241 and 177 respectively. These are changes in the published helpline-contact counts, not a measure of how the companies' overall customer service changed.
What these figures do not show
The published lists cover 16% of named-trader contacts in the first half of 2026 and 14% in the first half of 2025. Both reports say a trader name was supplied in 89% of the relevant consumer-rights contacts. The reports do not explain here how repeat contacts are counted or adjust trader totals for customer numbers or sales.
A trader missing from one of the lists is not necessarily at zero. A higher total does not, by itself, establish worse service or wrongdoing.
These are the CCPC's published named-trader lists, not all complaints in Ireland. They cannot be combined with regulator complaint counts or decisions to create one national company ranking.
